May Yong is the founder, managing director and general manager of M.Y. Consulting Co., Ltd., a corporate consulting firm providing a broad range of tax, consulting and other services.　Ms Yong’s career, spanning over 20 years, has been focused on working within the financial and accounting field.　Ms Yong has proven ability in sourcing and placing top talent at all skill levels to meet the needs of diverse businesses across industry lines.

Prior to establishing M.Y. Consulting Co., Ltd., Ms Yong worked for KPMG Certified Public Accountants, Taipei office, since September 1988.　She was involved in all aspects of corporate management services such as advisory, auditing, taxation, accounting and other services to local and multinational clients and also providing financial audit and tax agent service for foreign institutional investors (FINIs) in Taiwan since 1991.

During her time with KPMG Taiwan, she supervised and managed the statutory financial and tax audits and provided tax consulting services for local and multinational clients on the industries of manufacturing, trading, construction and development, engineering, government, automotive, consumer products, media and telecommunications, banks, securities brokers, insurance, securities investment trust/consulting enterprises, mutual funds, etc..　She also performed due diligence works i.e. evaluated the value of the company, review of royalty and accounts receivable, review company’s internal control system, assisted in Anti-Dumping project, preparation of financial forecast and business plan, etc..　She is the pioneer staff to provide financial audit and tax agent services to the FINIs since the Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor (QFII) is permitted to directly invest in Taiwan’s stock market in 1991.

Ms Yong was educated at the National Chengchi University in Taiwan, where she received a Bachelor of Accounting and an Executive Master of Business Administration in Accounting.　Ms Yong is fluent in writing and speaking English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
